About our speaker

Rae Lynn (Rae) Haliday, MBA, CRM, CIGO, FAI, holds a BS in Management from National-Louis University, Chicago, IL, and earned her MBA from Fontbonne University, St. Louis, MO in 2005. She achieved her Certified Records Manager (CRM) designation in 2003, and her Certified Information Governance Officer (CIGO) certification in 2021 to update her Information Governance (IG) skills, and to support the Institute of Certified Records Managers (ICRM) partnership with the Certified Information Governance Officers Association (CIGOA). Rae was elected to the ARMA Board of Directors and is currently serving a 3-year term (2024-2027). She is a part-time adjunct for St. John’s and San Jose State Universities, teaching RIM and Archives and Advanced Leadership and Advocacy for Records Professionals. She has been a member of the Zoological Registrars Association (ZRA) for 38 years, and is currently a member of its Professional Development Committee. Rae is a member of InterPares Trust AI. One of the key purposes of this grant-funded work is to establish mutual understanding between the archival and artificial intelligence (AI) communities in order to support ongoing cooperation and knowledge creation, and to unite academic, professional, and industry Partners in both areas of knowledge. She is assigned to the AI and Paradata workgroup and her and the Animal Management Services department have contributed a Use Case for its Digitization of Legacy Microfilm project.
